The Boats
Addie B- a sixteen double ended tugboat with a single, four cylinder Detroit Deisel Engine + a fully reversing hydraulic transmission which allows it to travel in forward or reverse gear with equal ease.
The Fort Ticonderoga II- a 96 ton; unrigged steel barge from Warren, Rhode Island.
Captain Jack Doyle
Captain Jack Doyle has spent 4 consecutive years as a Coast Guard ceritified captain and has been a Vermont resident for 25 years. As a Middlebury College graduate and lover of the northeast Kingdom landscape, he aims to share his love for Lake Champlain with others.
The Crew
The crew consists of 5 U.S. Coastguard certified captains and 4 deckhands. Personnel and equipment of the Fort Ti Ferry are inspected and qualified by the United States Coast Guard.
